ANNWFWN (UNDERWORLD)
A short 360 video by Megan Broadmeadow
Filmed in an abandoned Copper Mine, the audience finds them self as the last survivor of an unknown event. The soundtrack is a combination of poem by Broadmeadow and fragments from one of the most important historical text's in the Welsh language, Llyfr Taliesin. The narrator (who assumes the consciousness of the viewer), speaks of their mortality, and offers the potential for transmutation in another realm.
This work was exhibited as part of Daad Collectives -It Was A roadside Picnic, and awarded Highly Commended Award at Prix Ars Electronica, 2022.
It was also screen as part of FORMAT FESTIVAL in 2023
