3 screen video projected onto water screens at Cardiff Bay.

The work featured a new specially commissioned song by Welsh Musician and Mercury Award nominee Gruff Rhys entitled ‘Bae Bae Bae.’

The project was made in collaboration with Butetown carnival society, proffesional carnival makers and cardiff based artist and musicians as well as scientists from Cardiff Universities Bio Physics department. The Community Carnival group headed by proffessional makers made the costumes and performed in the video (singing and dance). The costumes were also presented in a live carnival parade on eve of the launch of the Eisteddfod and culminated in the premier of the water screen video.
